We bring the exciting news that Swift Connect will be returning to Wales for services!
After talks between us and the new organisation United Travel, they have funded us to reopen our depot in South Wales and continue our services. We are working with them to provide the best possible passenger experience as well as on time services!
United Travel have funded 11 routes for us to run to start off with. They have also gave us 15, 75 plate Alexander Dennis Enviro 400MMCs and 15, 75 plate Alexander Dennis Enviro 200MMCs in their corporate livery.
The new routes are as follows:
1 - Cardiff - Porthcawl
2 - Cardiff - Pontypridd
10 - Maesteg Hospital - Bridgend
15 - Bridgend - Maesteg
41 - Bridgend - Pant-yr-Awel
53 - Bridgend - Bridgend Designer Outlet
City1|CityOne - Cardiff City Centre - Cardiff Bay
BHS - Bridgend Hospital Shuttle
P&R - Swansea City Park & Ride
PTC - Port Talbot Circular
All of the routes listed above were ran by us before, and have been bought back from the other operators by United Travel. All of these routes are subsidised by United Travel and will except both United Travel tickets and Swift Connect tickets. Some routes are available to view now on our BusTimes* page, more are to become available over the next couple of days.

All routes running from the Bridgend Interchange will have replacement services from other operators such as First Cymru.
Other operators within the area will release statements on new routes within the next couple of days. Routes that have not been taken should be assumed cancelled.

All routes running from the Hull Interchange will have replacement services from other operators such as Stagecoach.
Our AIR shuttle has been unfortunately withdrawn with no other operator assigned to take this route as of yet.
P&O Shuttle has been taken by a local operator in the area.
Hessle P&R and Sutton Fields Industrial Estate Shuttle have also been handed over to local operators.

62 - Rugeley - Lichfield (REPLACED BY CHASERIDER)
63 - Rugeley - Stafford (WITHDRAWN)
65A - North Rugeley Circular (HANDED TO SMALLER OPERATOR)
65C - South Rugeley Circular (HANDED TO SMALLER OPERATOR)
We have now extended route 56 - Wolverhampton - Wombourne to the new 56A - Wombourne - Wolverhampton - Wednesfield Hospital.
Chaserider have began a new route from Stafford to Lichfield via Rugeley.
Route 61 was withdrawn by Rugeley Council due to lack of funding.
The North and South Rugeley Circulars have been handed over to a smaller local operator.
The following Tamworth routes have been affected:
70 - Tamworth - Mercia Park (HANDED TO DIAMOND BUS)
X7 - Tamworth - Lichfield (WITHDRAWN)
Diamond Bus have taken the route 70.
The X7 has been withdrawn with potential to return to another operator.
To begin with, they have funded our current routes 41, X44 and X45. But have told us that some more services will be put in place in the future. To allow for this demand, we have transferred 6 of our 2023 B8R MCV Evoras from our Hull depot that are fitted with USB A and USB C charging, also a fancy new Travel Telford Livery has now been wrapped!
